Cannabis-Assisted Psychotherapy (CAP)

120 minute sessions.
More traditional talk therapy sessions done with cannabis assistance.

Talking, meditations, body awareness practices are all available with this model. It’s formally called a “psycholytic cannabis session” meaning we are talking and sitting upright.

Cannabis is taken in smaller doses than journey work so you can learn skills to navigate altered states, still hold conversation, practice mindfulness, and get familiar with how you are on cannabis.

This is not a requirement for journeywork. Just another gentle way to ease into using plant-medicine. Or can be used to deepen and enhance a traditional psychotherapy session. A ride home is required for these sessions- or a suggestion is do them via telehealth from the comfort of your own home! Home visits can be explored on a case-by- case basis.

Financial investment*:
$300 for 2 hour session

*This is a clinical rate based on being a licensed psychotherapist with 10+ years experience, with additional training in both trauma (EMDR, IFS, body-based trauma-specialties) and in plant-medicine work (Medicinal Mindfulness- Psychedelic Sitter School. Levels 1, 2, and 3, 200 hours).
I operate as a psychotherapist using legal plant-medicine assistance, holding the highest ethical standard of both my state licensure and psychedelic training program. I have accountability to the Colorado State Ethics Board of Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists. Your safety, confidentiality, and peace-of-mind is of utmost importance to me. You will be treated with all the same rights and respect as any traditional psychotherapy client.
